Currently seen as Pawan Parik in Yash and Mamta Patnaik’s Kyunki Papa Kehte Hain, Raj Anankat speaks about his Diwali plans, balancing work and family and the importance of spreading happiness.Diwali is a festival of hope, positivity and fresh beginnings. For actor Raj Anadkat, the festival means a lot as it teaches him to remain positive and keep going irrespective of what life throws at him. The actor is currently seen playing the character of Pawan Parik in Kyunki Papa Kehte Hain. The actor has a rather busy festive season this year with the actor’s shooting commitments keeping him busy throughout the month.“Diwali teaches me a lot of things,” Raj says about what Diwali means to him. It reminds me to never give up. Never lose hope. No matter how dark it may get, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. That is something I really believe in and I think it is a beautiful message the festival brings with it.”The actor was supposed to celebrate the festival with his family, but his professional commitments have caused a change in his schedule. “I’m playing the lead in my show so I’ll be shooting throughout the month,” he says honestly. I had arranged to do something with my family earlier but unfortunately had to cancel due to work commitments. But, I’m hoping I get some time with them to celebrate.”Though Raj has a busy schedule, he ensures that he maintains a balance between his professional and personal life. “I try to balance my work and personal life as well as I can. If I get off early I hurry home to spend time with my family or take them out to a nice dinner. We are also like a family on set so it’s just as fun to celebrate these moments together,” he adds.Diwali is always a bagful of memories for Raj but this year he is excited to celebrate with his Kyunki Papa Kehte Hain team. “Every Diwali is memorable in its own way but I have a feeling that this year is going to be extra fun with my Kyunki Papa Kehte Hain team,” he says.Sending out a heartfelt message to his fans this festive season, Raj concludes, “I just want everyone to remember to be kind, be a spark in someone’s life and support each other’s growth. Be happy with other people and see to it that you make other people happy with you. Sometimes the smallest gesture can light up one’s life. So just be happy, live and let live.
