The show has kept audiences hooked for more than two decades and continues to being loved by fans across all generations. During his recent blog, Big B spoke about his duties as a host. In his latest entry on his personal Tumblr account, he said, "Some contestants come with such grave personal stories , that it becomes difficult to conduct not just our feelings for them but also to continue hosting the show.”He added, “I shall not indulge more because it would take away some elements from the understanding that a host gives to the Channel .. but it has been a heart-breaking experience."This year Kaun Banega Crorepati was launched last month in August with the theme 'Sochna Padega' which focuses on making the right decisions when information is available everywhere. This season, KBC is highlighting the importance of understanding and using knowledge, rather than simply knowing the answers.Recently, in an episode, Mr. Bachchan opened up about quitting rice and how wife Jaya Bachchan cooked mango kheer for him. He revealed, "I tell her, ‘Deviji, please cook something today.’ She gets very excited and then asks me, ‘How did you like what I made?’ I tell her, ‘It was wonderful.’ Recently, she made a new dish for me. Since I have stopped eating rice and kheer, she made mango kheer. It was absolutely delicious. And if she is watching the show, I want to say, ‘Thank you, Jaya. I loved the mango kheer you made. See, I have praised you, and everyone here is clapping. Please listen, I am praising you!’Kaun Banega Crorepati 18 recently welcomed special guests Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and director-producer Priyadarshan, who came to promote their film Haiwaan.
