The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon opened Wednesday with a parody of the hit documentary You Can See Everything .

Guest Jamie Lee Curtis played Elizabeth Holmes, while Fallon took on the role of Nathan Fielder.

Just like the documentary, there was a lot of long pauses and intense staring.

Jamie Lee Curtis just gave one of her finest performances: impersonating Elizabeth Holmes on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon .

Wednesday's episode opened with a parody of You Can See Everything , featuring the Halloween actress playing the role of the disgraced Theranos founder and Fallon as Nathan Fielder, the documentary's co-director who lived with Holmes the month leading up to her going to prison.

"Be honest. Do you really want to be on the show tonight?" Fallon asked Curtis in a tone similar to Fielder's in the movie.

The actress stared at him for several beats, just like Holmes in the doc's viral clip, before she smiled and answered that, yes, of course she did.

"So you're not just here to promote your new show, Newlyweds ?" Fallon asked her slowly.

"No," Curtis replied with intense eye contact. "I'm engaging with you as a human being."

Fallon still wanted to know if she was being completely honest.

She didn't stop staring and appeared to agree with everything he said. She tried very hard to, at the very least, appear honest.

"Why would I deceive you?" Curtis asked in a lower voice. "There's no reason for me to do that. There's nothing for me to deceive you on."

Then she flashed her eyes, reminiscent of Gloria Swanson's Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard .

When he accepted her answer, with a "good chat," she again stared at him wildly.

Fallon then left, telling her he would see her during the show.

"Thank God!" Curtis, still in character, said, "F---! What an a---hole!"

The sketch perfectly captured many of the sometimes awkward conversations between Fielder and Holmes, who was accused of having defrauded investors. She was found guilty by a federal jury in January 2022 on four counts related to just that, but she's always maintained her innocence.

In the new documentary that Fielder directed with Lance Oppenheim, Holmes and Fielder have many drawn-out conversations much like the one in the Tonight Show spoof — perhaps why the movie clocks in at just under three hours.

The highly entertaining documentary has already done big bucks at the box office, where it took in $19.5 million over the weekend. In two weeks, it has become the highest-grossing documentary at the domestic box office in 15 years, and it's earned $45.1 million overall after two weeks in theaters.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
