The Holland Turkey Trot will return for a second year Nov. 26, with runners, walkers and volunteers invited to take part in the community event that benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Holland.

The race begins at 8 a.m. and will start and finish on Eighth Street near Jimmy John's, according to a community announcement. Participants will follow a course that travels through downtown and loops around Windmill Island.

According to organizers, 1,245 people registered for the inaugural event in 2025, which raised $10,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Holland.

"The Holland Turkey Trot is about so much more than running," wrote Race Director Kevin J. Maas. "It's about bringing our community together ... to celebrate what makes Holland so special.

"The route is a visual postcard of Holland, starting and finishing on Eighth Street, running through the heart of downtown and passing right alongside the De Zwaan."
