Serie B: Juventude held by Londrina, but stay top

The closing match of the 25th round of Brazil's Série B, between Londrina and Juventude, on Tuesday night (the 1st), ended goalless. With the result, the team from Rio Grande do Sul now has 46 points. It leads the competition, followed by Vila Nova (44).

Londrina wasted the chance to play at home, at Vitorino Gonçalves Dias, to try to improve its position in the standings. The team is 18th, with 22 points, seven points behind Avaí, the first side outside the relegation zone.

The 2026 Série B has a new feature. At the end of the first and second halves of the season, the two teams with the most points are promoted directly to the 2027 Série A. The teams finishing in 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th place will play playoffs to fill the other two promotion spots.
