Patrick Stokes, President of Applications and Marketing, described what he called an interface revolution, in which agents sit between users and enterprise software. Rather than requiring employees to navigate separate applications, he said users can express their intent to an AI agent that can access connected tools and return answers, dashboards or applications.
Stokes demonstrated "Claudeforce," which connects Salesforce capabilities to Anthropic's Claude through MCP servers and related tools. In the demonstration, Claude retrieved pipeline and activity information from Salesforce, produced interactive displays in chat, and created scheduled daily briefings. Stokes said users can also build customized dashboards and applications from prompts without viewing code.
