Michelsen was on the verge of becoming the first unseeded man this century to reach a major semifinal without losing a set.

As Michelsen served for the match, Tiafoe finally found his form—unleashing his signature intensity and athleticism, breaking twice in a row to seize the set and dramatically alter the match's course.

Fueled by that surge, Tiafoe broke Michelsen two more times in the fourth, forcing a deciding fifth set and sending the crowd into a frenzy.

Michelsen quickly recaptured the momentum in the fifth set, seizing the first service break.

But Tiafoe remained undeterred, ultimately breaking right back.

Both players continued to hold, sending the final set to a 10-point tie-breaker, where Tiafoe hit an incredible cross-court return at 4-4 to claim what would be a crucial mini-break.

Sabalenka quickly regrouped and dominated the tiebreaker to take the opening set.

However, Noskova was just beginning to find her rhythm. The 21-year-old delivered a commanding performance in the second set, winning 83 percent of points on her first serve and hitting 14 winners.

In the third set, both players exchanged service breaks until Sabalenka faltered in an error-filled game, falling behind 3-2.

It appeared that Sabalenka was starting to lose her composure; however, the World No. 1 remained resolute, maintaining her aggressive play and breaking back to equalize the match at 4-4.

The third set was sent to a tie-breaker, where Sabalenka found another gear to avoid the massive upset.

Match of the Day: Coco Gauff (4) vs. Mirra Andreeva (5)

Coco Gauff enters the quarterfinal winning 10 straight matches without dropping a set.

The two-time major champion was otherworldly in her straight-set win over Iva Jovic, boasting her top-tier athleticism and impeccable shot-making.

Meanwhile, Mirra Andreeva enters on the heels of a thrilling three-set win over Anastasia Potapova.

The 19-year-old can be a nightmare opponent for so many players with her court coverage and redirection in baseline rallies.

Gauff, however, is a perfect 5-0 against Andreeva.

Gauff is expected to prevail, considering her current form and momentum; however, don't be surprised if she drops her first set of the tournament.
