US Open Tennis Draw 2026 for Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz as Full Brackets Revealed

The 2026 U.S. Open men's singles final could potentially feature a semifinal showdown between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.

Alcaraz and Djokovic are featured on the same side of the men's singles draw that was revealed Thursday afternoon.

The women's singles draw placed top-seeded Aryna Sabalenka and Jessica Pegula on track for a potential semifinal matchup of their own.

Here's a look at the full men's and women's brackets now that the draw has been revealed.

Temperatures in Queens will be something to keep an eye on leading into the tournament.

After collapsing during the Cincinnati Open due to what he described as a health issue exacerbated by heat and humidity, Djokovic cut a practice short in the lead-up to the singles draw.

Both Djokovic and Alcaraz are entering the men's singles bracket after elimination in mixed doubles competition earlier this week.

Alcaraz is the defending champion after defeating Jannik Sinner in four sets during the 2025 US Open.

Sinner won't be participating in the 2026 tournament due to a right knee injury, while Alcaraz is making his return from a right wrist injury that sidelined him for four months.

Those injuries could create an opening for the top-seeded participant in the draw, Alexander Zverev, whose 2026 French Open victory made him the first player other than Sinner or Alcaraz to win a major since 2024.

Zverev has reached the U.S. Open semifinals in 2020 and 2021 but has yet to get a chance to play for the tournament title.

In a separate quarter, Felix Auger-Aliassime is looking to take advantage of the opportunity by building on last year's run to the men's single semifinals.

Alex de Minaur (Zverev's quarter) is seeking redemption in the the tournament after falling out of top-four seeding for the event following a fourth-round loss to Arthur Fils at the Cincinnati Masters.

2021 U.S. Open champion Daniil Medvedev (Djokovic's quarter) is also looking for a bounceback tournament after failing to make it past the fourth round at a major this year.

Ben Shelton (Alcaraz's quarter) and Taylor Fritz (Auger-Aliassime's quarter) are each hoping to become the first American man to win the U.S. Open singles title since 2003 .

Shelton is entering the tournament after defending his Canadian Open title earlier this month. Fritz, the 2024 U.S. Open runner-up, most recently made it to the quarterfinals in Cincinnati.

Sabalenka will enter the women's singles field as the favorite to defend her two consecutive U.S. Open victories.

Getting out of her quarter could require overcoming Linda Nosková, who is looking to add another major singles title to her win at the 2026 Wimbledon Championships.

Another one of Sabalenka's top challengers will be Iga Świątek, who defeated Elena Rybakina to win the Canadian Open earlier this month. Świątek may once more need to defeat Rybakina in order to make it out of her quarter.

Coco Gauff is also entering the tournament on a hot streak after recently defeating Pegula to win the Cincinnati Open. She will need to make it out of a quarter featuring 19-year-old Mirra Andreeva in order to earn a shot at a potential final rematch against Pegula.

The main draw of the U.S. Open singles competition begins Aug. 30. The competition leads up to the women's final Sept. 12 and men's final Sept. 13 at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
