Every player Jack Draper managed to beat in 2026 as he ends season early due to injury

Still struggling with injuries, Jack Draper recently ended his 2026 season early.

"Don't usually love lots of words on here, but I wanted to update you that I am aiming to return to the tour at the start of 2027. Last summer, all the dedication and work I had put into this sport was coming together. It was all going my way, and the path seemed so clear. However, a complicated injury made things incredibly challenging, and since that moment I've been desperately trying to get back and feel as I once did on the court," said Draper on Instagram .

"Managing so much change, adversity, and pain has helped me to grow massively in many areas of my life, but has also made me feel a level of fatigue that made it difficult to keep going. I am taking this time to reset and heal, so when I return, I am 100% ready to go.

"Tennis is my purpose and passion, and so when I step back on court, I want to make sure that there's nothing holding me back from where I want to go and achieve the things I know I'm capable of. I really appreciate all the continued support from my sponsors, team, and people who enjoy following my tennis, and I look forward to being back on court to give it my all next year!"

As Draper calls it quits for 2026, what better time than now to look back at every win he picked up this year?

Jack Draper won eight matches this season

The British star established himself as one of the brightest prospects in men's tennis last year. Draper won Indian Wells and reached the Madrid Open final, breaking into the world's top five.

Unfortunately for Draper, a bone bruise in his left arm limited him to one match after Wimbledon, where he won his first-round tie at the US Open before withdrawing. Returning in 2026, Draper began to find form before a separate knee injury forced him out of action. Then, the bone bruise flared up again, bringing his season to a close.

This year didn't go to plan at all, but Draper still managed to win eight matches.

He won his first match of the year in Norway. Competing for Team Great Britain at the Davis Cup, Draper defeated world number 313 Viktor Durasovic in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2. The British star looked impressive on his return, leading many to believe his injury woes were behind him.

However, a late withdrawal from the Rotterdam Open brought those questions back to the fore. Draper instead returned to ATP Tour action in the UAE at the Dubai Tennis Championships. There, Draper beat the Frenchman Quentin Halys, 7-6, 6-3, to reach the second round. He fell short against another Frenchman, Arthur Rinderknech, in round two, but looked strong in defeat.

His next task was to defend the Indian Wells title he won in 2025. Draper found himself in trouble early on, losing the opening set of his second-round match, but recovered to beat Roberto Bautista Agut, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2. Then, in the third round, Draper defeated top-20 star Francisco Cerundolo to set up a blockbuster last-16 clash with Novak Djokovic. Picking up the biggest win of his 2026 campaign, Draper beat Djokovic , 4-6, 6-4, 7-5. Daniil Medvedev then ended Draper's title defence in the quarter-finals, winning 6-1, 7-5.

In Miami, Draper lost his opening match to Reilly Opelka before retiring due to injury against Tomas Martin Etcheverry in Barcelona. He didn't play another match on clay and returned on grass, looking to snap a three-match losing streak.

He did just that, beating Marcos Giron in the first round of the Eastbourne Open and his countryman, Jack Pinnington Jones, in the second round. Draper then defeated Gabriel Diallo 6-1, 6-4 to reach his first ATP semi-final of the season. He fell short in his bid to reach the final, though, losing to Ugo Humbert in straights.

Draper didn't win another match post-Eastbourne. He lost his opening matches in Canada and Cincinnati before he ended his season early.

Where will Jack Draper be ranked by the end of 2026?

Draper finished 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 as a top-100 player. However, that streak will end in 2026. Draper currently sits 151st in the 'Live ATP Rankings', but risks falling further out of contention.

He is 136th in the 'Live ATP Race', and without playing any more matches this year, Draper will continue to see players pass him over the coming months.
