Suntarine Perkins Stares Down Lane Kiffin in New Video as Security Escort LSU HC After Ole Miss Loss

The Ole Miss linebacker stood on the field and stared down LSU head coach Lane Kiffin while smiling after the Rebels defeated the Tigers 32-24 in Saturday's highly anticipated showdown. Kiffin was surrounded by security and escorted off the field, and one of the security members even moved the linebacker out of the way so the coach could get through to the locker room (0:22 mark).

For his part, Perkins made it clear how proud he was of his team after the marquee victory:

Saturday's contest was one of the most hyped games of the entire season, as Kiffin coached at Ole Miss last season before leaving for LSU ahead of the College Football Playoff. It was a high-profile exit given the timing of his departure and that he was going to an SEC rival.

The crowd welcomed Kiffin with a chorus of boos and was raucous throughout the contest.

Kiffin even told reporters after the game the Tigers "walked into a storm," which appeared to make a difference as LSU fell behind 24-7 by halftime. The Tigers came all the way back to tie the game at 24 in the fourth and had all the momentum until Trinidad Chambliss put his team on his back.

The Ole Miss quarterback capped off a 13-play, 75-yard drive with a 14-yard touchdown run, and the Rebels defense then picked off Sam Leavitt on LSU's final possession.

Perkins finished with four tackles, one pass defended and a stare down in the aftermath of the game.

It was the stare down that stood out the most.
