Arch Manning and the Texas Longhorns suffered their second straight defeat on Saturday afternoon at the hands of the Florida Gators.
Manning didn't have his best day in burnt orange, as he threw for 173 yards and had a game-ending fumble in the 27-24 defeat in Austin.
Biggest Disappointments of 2026 CFB Season 😞
Manning and the Longhorns rushed out to a 17-3 lead thanks to the ground game and special teams.
Raleek Brown opened the scoring on a 32-yard touchdown run and Ryan Niblett returned a punt 62 yards to the end zone.
Manning didn't play a massive role in the scoring until late in the fourth quarter, when he hit Cam Coleman for a nine-yard touchdown pass.
Manning hit Emmett Mosley V for a 62-yard pass to set up the touchdown pass to Coleman.
However, Manning failed to complete the comeback in the fourth. He fumbled on the Longhorns' final drive on a 1st-and-down play that started at the Texas 46-yard-line.
Prior to the touchdown, Texas had two punts and a turnover on downs in the second half on offense.
Manning's personal stat line wasn't terrible, but he didn't overly impress either against a team that was ranked in the top 10 just two weeks ago.
Manning and the Longhorns will attempt to bounce back at home next week, but that will be difficult against the No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels.
