Mohamed Ali Zoma is included in Italy 's squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League games. The Nürnberg attacker was heavily linked with a move to relegated West Ham United this summer after making his breakthrough in 2026.

Including five goals in as many games this season, the 22-year-old scored 15 goals in 20 2. Bundesliga appearances since the turn of the year. "Momo" has Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast roots in his family, but he has decided to represent his birth country.

Zoma joined Miroslav Klose's side from Serie C club AlbinoLeffe in August 2025. He currently has a contract until 2029 with Der Club. Roberto Mancini also included Borussia Dortmund 's Samuele Inácio in his first squad back in charge of the Italian national team.

The 18-year-old made his international debut in June as a late substitute in the narrow win over Luxembourg. His Dortmund teammate Filippo Mane was also included in that squad, but he'll now miss out as he recovers from a muscle injury.

The Euro 2020 winner has named a 34-man squad, with Zoma one of the nine new faces for Azzurri. Mancini's second spell will start at home against Belgium before a couple of games against Vincenzo Montella's Türkiye and a trip to Stade de France to face Zinedine Zidane's France.
