Colchester 1-1 Cheltenham

Colchester had a third-minute penalty appeal rejected when Harry Anderson tumbled under Jake Evans' challenge just inside the area.

But Cheltenham almost went ahead just before the break when Colchester goalkeeper Thimothee Lo-Tutala saved Charlie McCann's close-range effort with his legs, after the ball had been headed across the area.

Colchester's Jack Payne was denied from close range by Cheltenham goalkeeper Wyll Stanway early in the second half.

But Colchester finally broke the deadlock in the 67th minute through Moses Sesay, who stroked a low shot into the net after breaking from midfield and exchanging passes with Ellis Iandolo.

However, Cheltenham equalised in the 78th minute when Weimann slotted home from the spot after Sean Raggett had handled Joe Tomlinson's free-kick in the area.

Colchester were reduced to 10 men in the 83rd when substitute Jaden Williams was sent off for a foul on Robbie Cundy, as the points were shared.
