North Carolina wide receiver Keeyun Chapman has been suspended indefinitely from the program.

In a statement released by the school, UNC announced Chapman's suspension stems from his "connection with an incident Tuesday night."

Chapman was a 4-star prospect in the 2026 recruiting class, per 247Sports' composite rankings . He committed to North Carolina in July 2025, making him one of the highest-profile recruits for head coach Bill Belichick.

A graduate of Jackson High School in Alabama, Chapman competed in track, basketball and football before arriving in college.

Chapman did not play in either of the Tar Heels' first two games this season.

North Carolina is off to a 2-0 start heading into Saturday's ACC opener against Clemson.
