Lampard 'gone by end of October' or 'nothing to worry about'? Fans on league start

We asked for your views on Coventry's difficult start to the season and whether Frank Lampard 's team is being written off too soon.

Ian : The concerning thing is the impact of the tough fixtures on confidence, exacerbated by recruitment not focusing on players with any Premier League experience. While over a season the fixtures will even out, the harm done by playing the current top four in the league so soon cannot be underestimated.

Alan : If we weren't creating chances it would be a big problem, but we are so there is nothing to be worried about. When one comes the rest will follow

Terance : The Premier League is tough. Look, the vast majority of football supporters like Frank Lampard, but, in my opinion, he should have recruited more players with Premier League experience, signed them on a two-year contract, and gone from there. Why not Jamie Vardy ? He knows where the goals are - maybe not a 90-minute player, but he scores goals (gone to Burnley now).

Andy : It's very simple - we have definitely improved the squad in the summer window, but we are still short of being a genuine Premier League team. We need at least one more striker and a midfield leader to have any slither of hope of staying in this league. Add to that, the players that got us into the top flight must up their game to the required level and very quickly.

Tony : Spent a lot of money on new players but only select three for a must win match - why? Expected better after much improved team performance against Manchester City . We need Tatsuhiro Sakamoto and Hadji Wright asap while the new players settle in. Team selections could be much better.

Harold : Sorry, but can't see Lamps turning this round. Book Xmas holidays now -gone by end of October at best.

Alan : Julian Laurens questions whether Frank Lampard is good enough to succeed with Coventry in the Premier League. IF he maintains his win percentage at 41%, we finish with at least 46 points - easily good enough!
