Lane Kiffin's LSU Reveals Custom Cleats in New Photos for CFB Season Opener vs. Dabo, Clemson

Lane Kiffin's LSU Tigers will wear custom cleats during a season-opening matchup with Dabo Swinney and Clemson on Saturday.

LSU showcased the cleats in a series of photos posted on X.

The Tigers are looking to start off strong under Kiffin, who will be coaching his first game since the school hired him as head coach in Nov. 2025.

LSU is coming off a disappointing 2025 campaign, finishing with a 7-6 record and losing to Houston in the Texas Bowl. The Tigers fired head coach Brian Kelly midway through the season.

LSU's roster looks vastly different under Kiffin, as the school compiled the No. 1 transfer portal class in the country during the 2026 cycle (via 247Sports' composite rankings ).

The new-look Tigers' first test will come against a Clemson squad that's also attempting to bounce back from a 7-6 finish last year, although Swinney's team previously made a College Football Playoff appearance in 2024.

Kickoff between LSU and Clemson on Saturday is at 7:30 p.m. ET.
