The chaos from the last two weeks in college football will be hard to top in Week 9.
Saturday's slate serves as a bridge between the chaos from Weeks 7 and 8 to an absolute masterclass of a Week 10 docket.
There's still some important games on the schedule, but there's a little less buzz around the Florida Gators-Georgia Bulldogs rivalry battle.
Georgia will be under more focus in Atlanta because it is two weeks removed from its first defeat of the season.
The other Top 25 battle of Week 9 pits the Arizona Wildcats against the Texas Tech Red Raiders in a must-win contest for both sides in the Big 12 title race.
Arizona's emerged as a potential surprise contender in the Big 12, but its only loss is to the BYU Cougars. Saturday's trip to Lubbock will provide the Wildcats with a measuring stick for where it stands.

No. 17 Florida vs. No. 3 Georgia (-11.5)
Georgia's had two weeks to stew after suffering its first defeat of the season to the Auburn Tigers.
That's probably bad news for the Florida Gators, who come into Atlanta as an 11.5-point underdog.
Georgia is still one of the best teams in the nation at No. 3 in the AP Top 25. Its also been the dominant side in the rivalry for the last decade with an 8-2 record.
Florida hasn't scored more than 20 points in a loss to UGA since 2007. UGA has 11 wins in a row in which it held the Gators to 20 points or fewer. Florida's scored exactly 20 points in four straight years against UGA, but only one of those defeats was by less than a touchdown.
Georgia started the season with six straight concessions of 20 points or fewer, so it's pretty simple what the goals should be for each team.
If you believe UGA will win, but maybe not cover the 11.5-point spread, you could take the angle of the under on Florida's team total, which is of course set at 20.5.
Georgia is 5-2 against the spread in 2026. Four of those covers came as a double-digit favorite.
Florida's been more up-and-down than its rival, as it owns wins over the Ole Miss Rebels and Texas Longhorns, but lost by double digits to the Missouri Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks.
The Gators caught Ole Miss after an emotional win over the LSU Tigers and got to Texas while its offense was sputtering, so there are some reasons to buy into the big point spread.
Georgia is the more proven and consistent quantity with a more experienced quarterback in Gunner Stockton and a defense that doesn't typically break much during a game.
While the spread may be big for a rivalry game, Georgia is more than capable of covering it.
Saturday's clash in Lubbock feels like the first true College Football Playoff elimination game.
Arizona comes in at 6-1 with a loss to BYU already on its resume. It can't afford a second loss against one of the Big 12's three top programs.
A win would set the Wildcats up for a chance to beat Utah at home on November 14 and potentially get into the playoff.
Texas Tech is on thin ice because of its loss to the unranked Cincinnati Bearcats on the road a week ago.
The Red Raiders weren't overly impressive in their first game against a ranked opponent in September. They fell behind by 10 points in the first quarter before they came back and beat the Houston Cougars in what turned out to be a back-and-forth contest.
Texas Tech gave up 458 total yards to Houston and Cincinnati put up 427 yards, including 255 on the ground.
Arizona's offense eclipsed the 30-point mark in each of its victories this season.
All of those numbers give us a good formula for the Over 54.5 to hit.
Neither team has made a convincing argument in their toughest games to trust them on a spread bet, but Texas Tech's defense is leaky enough where points should be scored often.
