Bayern Munich CEO says they never received an offer for their star player.

Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen recently denied the rumors going around during the latest transfer window regarding a possible exit of star winger Michael Olise. As reported last month, there were some rumors of Olise potentially leaving Der Rekordmeister and of Real Madrid having made an offer for the Frenchman. These notions were even denied by Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez.

Speaking to Sport1-Doppelpass , Dreesen dismissed the rumors regarding the winger. "That simply wasn't true. That's why I said it publicly. It simply wasn't true. We didn't have any offer on the table. And we've always said we weren't interested. That's exactly our position. Olise is incredibly important for this team. He's a magician on this pitch ," stated Dreesen (as captured by @iMiaSanMia ).

Dreesen was then asked for reassurance on the player's status; however, as expected, the CEO avoided making any guarantees on Olise's future. "Making promises is a tricky matter. Whether we can keep him permanently is something we will discuss again in the summer."

A player of his status will always attract the attention of the best teams in Europe, and although nothing is sure in football, at least the Frenchman appears to be content in Munich at the moment.
