Tennessee got an easy 56-9 win over Furman last Saturday. Tennessee's offense was on fire the entire game. The Volunteers had a total of 638 yards. Quarterback Faizon Brandon went 13-for-17 with 226 yards and three touchdowns. DeSean Bishop also had 97 yards on the ground and one touchdown.

Georgia Tech will try to avenge its first loss of the season last week against Colorado and get its first win of the season. Colorado scored a go-ahead touchdown with 37 seconds left, but Georgia Tech was still able to get in field goal range to win the game after that. However, the kick was blocked and the Yellow Jackets fell 14-13 to the Buffaloes in a thriller. Georgia Tech hasn't had a 0-2 start since going 0-3 in 1989.

Saturday will mark the 45th time the two teams have met, with Tennessee leading the all-time series 25-17-2. The last meeting was back in 2017 and Tennessee squeaked by with a 42-41 win.
