Wisconsin High School Football Rankings: Top 25 Teams – Aug. 30

The top five high school football teams in the state of Wisconsin remain unchanged — according to the Massey Ratings — following the second week of the 2026 season. Sixteen of the top 25 teams in the state remain unbeaten.

Both No. 3 Bay Port and No. 5 West De Pere held serve with important ranked wins. The latter took down Appleton North , which entered the matchup as the No. 7 team in the state. New Richmond is the lone new addition to the top 10.

Rivals takes a look at the updated top 25 rankings for Wisconsin high school football after the second week of the season. The Massey Ratings , officially used during the BCS era, is a model that ranks sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule, and margin of victory.

Arrowhead rightfully remains atop the state rankings after another 35-7 victory, this time on the road over Neenah . It was tied 7-7 at halftime, but the Warriors, led by senior quarterback Nolan Hanson , pulled away late. They've now outscored opponents 70-14 to open the year 2-0. Up next for Arrowhead is a trip to No. 20 Catholic Memorial .

After opening the season with a hard-fought 24-7 win over top-10 Waunakee, Muskego really got rolling offensively on Friday night, defeating Oak Creek 63-23 on the road. The Warriors' schedule doesn't let up, as they now host No. 24 Brookfield Central this Friday before heading to Catholic Memorial , then No. 10 Oconomowoc .

Bay Port snapped a four-game losing streak to Kimberly on Thursday night, taking down the Papermakers at home, 28-13. It's also the first time that the Pirates have began a season 2-0 since 2022 — as first noted by the Green Bay Press-Gazette . With momentum in-hand, Bay Port will remain at home this week as No. 21 Pulaski comes to town.

The Chargers also woke up offensively in their second game of the year, routing Case 52-32 in a shootout. Hamilton senior dual-threat quarterback Cole Erdmann finished with four touchdowns, two through the air and two on the feet. No. 10 Oconomowoc now heads to Sussex for a top-10 showdown this Friday, Sept. 4.

Now led by junior QB Andrew Greisen and new head coach Kegan Wirtz, West De Pere looks the part through two games. In its home-opener on Thursday, it stymied Appleton North for a 35-7 victory. That followed a season-opener that saw Greisen throw five touchdowns. The Phantoms will be at No. 14 De Pere this Friday in a battle of 2-0 squads.
