For the most part, Bayern has been sloppy in the first half. Lots of misplaced passes, dangerous runs that went unnoticed, and wasted set pieces.

It's not like Bayern is devoid of ideas in attack, Schalke just happened to be more than equal to it.

Credit to the home side for giving Bayern a headache; the visitors had great difficulty in making attacking forays into opposition territory.
