Tensions between Real Madrid and La Liga are at an all-time high, with Javier Tebas leading the line for the league and coming heavily under fire in recent days.
The recent outburst began when Tebas compared Real Madrid TV's comments and telecasts to the propaganda of Nazi Germany , clearly crossing a line in the process.
" Real Madrid TV leads the way. The score is always the same: select the incidents that suit their interests, repeat the grievance, fuel suspicion and identify the enemies."
"This method recalls propaganda techniques exploited by Goebbels, the propaganda minister of Nazi Germany: systematic repetition, the creation of an enemy and the subordination of facts to a narrative," he added.
The comments, needless to say, riled up the Real Madrid offices, who immediately hit out and called for Tebas' resignation as the president of La Liga.

Now, as reported by MARCA in a recent update, the Superior Council for Sports (CSD) is studying acting ex officio in the Real Madrid-Tebas issue and handing the league president a possible sanction.
The development comes as a big win for Real Madrid, who will finally feel their voice is being deservedly heard. After all, having a league president who openly compares one of the biggest clubs in the league to Nazi Germany comes as a new low for La Liga.
As matters stand, however, the CSD is only looking into the matter and has yet to decide whether Real Madrid's calls for Tebas' resignation have enough merit. In any case, the league president must not get away easily with such a disgraceful statement.

Through their long official communication on the matter, Real Madrid hit out elaborately at Tebas and placed several accusations at him.
For starters, they addressed the elephant in the room – the comparison to Nazi Germany and how it was very distasteful and disrespectful to do so.
The club, however, went on and highlighted that this is not the first time Tebas has spoken negatively about Real Madrid, especially when the club are also on the right side of the Negreira scandal.
Concurrently, the club also called for a better refereeing system with a complete revamp and stated how Tebas and Co. have been unresponsive on the Negreira matter despite knowing how serious the accusation is.
They particularly called out the president for his lack of neutrality, respect, and impartiality incompatible with his institutional responsibilities, thus calling for his resignation.
