Arch Manning picked up the biggest win of his career so far as he led Texas to a comeback victory against top-ranked Ohio State over the weekend.

The quarterback had his ups and downs throughout, and NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah broke down his performance on his podcast, Move the Sticks .

Jeremiah noted that some of Manning's miscues were no fault of his own, like a tipped interception in the first half and a few dropped balls. Jeremiah also praised Manning's pocket presence in the game.

"You talk about a very, very firm base that he operates from. He does a good job getting into his legs and then he has a very clean stroke," Jeremiah said (6:50 mark). "There's times on some of the quick hitters I think you could get it out a little quicker, but he's very congnizant to get his feet in the ground and then try and deliver the ball as accurately as he can."

Jeremiah also highlighted Manning's ability to escape from pressure when the pocket breaks down.

"There's times where you can see his twitch when he needs to get out of there. You can see that first step to escape," Jeremiah said. "There's a lot of suddenness there, which you like to see. Flashes the ability to drive the ball in tight windows."

But it wasn't all good from Manning. Jeremiah pointed out a few areas for improvement, including his field vision.

"Just in terms of overall field vision, just continuing to get better in that area," Jeremiah said. "Honestely, I think it just comes with playing more. I think the more he's exposed to, the more he sees, he'll be a little bit more confident in what he sees out there."

Manning finished the game with 195 passing yards, a touchdown and an interception on 23-of-37 passing, leading the Longhorns back from a 20-point deficit in the second half.

Manning and Texas will be back in action this week when they take on UTSA in a game that should be much more manageable.
