DeAndre Hopkins Makes Coaching Debut for Georgia Tech vs. Deion Sanders' Colorado in New Photo

DeAndre Hopkins, who starred as a wide receiver over his 13 NFL seasons (2013-2025), made his debut on Thursday as Georgia Tech's assistant wide receivers coach when the Yellow Jackets began their 2026 season with a home game against head coach Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes.

Hopkins told his fans on Aug. 1 that he wasn't officially done with the NFL, but he made it clear he's chosen a coaching path at this time.

The 34-year-old played for the Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. He's a five-time All-Pro (three First Teams, two Second Teams) and five-time Pro Bowler who has amassed 1,006 catches, 13,295 receiving yards and 85 receiving touchdowns.
