Louisiana football star QB Lunch Winfield teams up with Lunchables

It's only fitting for a man named Lunch to team up with a brand named Lunchables.

Louisiana football's star quarterback Lunch Winfield announced on his Instagram that he'll be teaming up Lunchables for a name, image and likeness deal ahead of the 2026 college football season.

"Some lunchmates were just meant to be. Welcome to the team, Lunch Winfield," Windfield shared in an Instagram post on September 1.

The junior signal caller, whose real name is Dwayne, has been known as 'Lunch' since his was just months old.

"My grandfather gave me my nickname when I was young," Winfield said. "He had his lunch, I think it was a big chicken wing, and he turned away and I ate the whole thing. After that day, he was calling me lunch and it stuck with me till this day."
