Pellegrini and Mourinho hug it out after Real Madrid clash

It was a special evening for José Mourinho at the Olimpico. Not only were his former fans paying tribute, but he also met with the survivors of his Giallorossi squad: Dybala, Mancini, and Pellegrini.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports on newsstands today, the Special One greeted his three former players in the Olimpico parking lot, sharing jokes, hugs, and smiles with them as the Blancos fought back against Roma.

The most important meeting, however, was with Lorenzo Pellegrini. Their embrace was indeed charged with meaning after the rumors circulating after the Portuguese's dismissal that the midfielder and the Portuguese coach had deteriorated.

Undoubtedly a special match for Mourinho, who was able to relive, even if only for one evening, the emotions that only the Olimpico can offer.
