The Carabao Cup is back for the 2026/27 season, with every second-round tie live on Sky Sports; watch Chelsea vs Luton, Tottenham vs Charlton, Fulham vs AFC Wimbledon, Newcastle vs West Brom, Preston vs Everton and more
On Wednesday, you can see Newcastle hope to clinch a first win under Matthias Jaissle when West Brom visit St James' Park, while Tottenham look to bounce back from a 3-0 humbling at Brentford at home to early Championship pace-setters Charlton .
The same night, David Moyes will make his first return to Deepdale since leaving Preston in 2002 when he visits with Everton , before Chelsea host Luton and Fulham likewise with AFC Wimbledon in Thursday's double header.
The third round draw takes place live on Sky Sports following Preston's clash with Everton on Wednesday night. Fixtures take place across two weeks (weeks beginning 7 and 14 September), with 32 teams involved - 23 winners from round two and the nine Premier League clubs competing in UEFA competitions.
Additional draw conditions will be in place due to the expanded European competition calendar. Before Wednesday's main draw, there will be a pre-draw at around 7:20pm, live on Sky Sports, to decide whether each of the Champions League and Europa League clubs will be at home or away. Those games will also be the first eight ties in the main draw later that night.
All ties kick off at 7.45pm (BST) unless stated otherwise
