Barcelona summer signing has ‘won over the dressing room’

A member of the summer recruitment drive at La Liga champions Barcelona has wasted little time in winning over the full trust and admiration of his teammates in Catalunya's capital.

That's according to Diario Sport , who highlight Anthony Gordon as the player in question.

Attacker Gordon of course swapped his native England for Spain earlier this summer, departing Newcastle United for the bright lights of the Spotify Camp Nou.

On the pitch, the 25-year-old has since taken to his new surroundings like a duck to water, with three assists already in the bag across his first three appearances. Gordon's exploits have even culminated in widespread chants of his name across the Camp Nou stands.

And as alluded to above, his impact has been equally as instant behind the scenes in Barcelona. As per a report from Sport:

'Gordon has already won over the dressing room. He has been able to adapt without problems thanks to his humility and professionalism.'
