NC State football in weather delay vs Richmond: What we know

NC State football 's home-opening contest against Richmond has been delayed due to weather.

A lightning delay halted play with NC State ahead 28-0 with 11:33 to go in the second quarter from Carter-Finley Stadium. It is unclear at this time when play will resume.

The Wolfpack have scored rushing touchdowns on each of their four possession, totaling 178 rushing yards. Duke Scott has run for 115 of those yards with two scores. CJ Bailey and Davion Gause scored the Wolfpack 's other two touchdowns.

Richmond's offense has been limited to 58 total yards, including -9 on the ground.
