A group of Texas Tech fans reportedly found a booklet containing Colorado's offensive plays and game plan at a hotel bar in Broomfield, Colorado, on Friday night, per The Athletic's David Ubben .
According to that report, "'Powered by the gogo,' read the cover sheet, referencing the Go-Go offense run by Colorado offensive coordinator Brennan Marion. Inside was the Buffs' opening script of plays for the game and more, according to the fans who claimed to find the proprietary info, which promptly spread to social media and was posted to a Texas Tech message board on Friday night."
At least one play diagrammed in the booklet as an opener—a reverse pass trick play that Colorado ran on its first offensive snap—was run in the contest.
While the people who discovered the booklet tried to get it into the hands of the Texas Tech staff, head coach Joey McGuire told The Athletic he never saw it.
