Collins Sichenje: Charlton Athletic defender out for season with knee injury

Charlton Athletic defender Collins Sichenje is set to miss the remainder of the 2026-27 season with a knee injury.

The Kenyan, 22, suffered the injury during the Addicks' Carabao Cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur and has since undergone surgery.

"It's a tough injury for Collins and everyone at the club," boss Nathan Jones told the club website. , external

"He underwent surgery this week, which went well, but he'll be out for an extended period.
