The biggest weekend of the 2026 college football season is upon us.

Seven Top 25 matchups are spread throughout the Week 10 schedule, with the Miami Hurricanes trip to South Bend to face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish as the marquee clash.

The game's hype took a hit this week when Miami wide receiver Malachi Toney was ruled out with an ankle injury.

However, it's still a showdown between two of the most iconic brands in college football and the first true test for the No. 1 team in the College Football Playoff rankings.

The SEC is littered with top-tier matchups on Saturday. The Georgia Bulldogs' visit to Oxford to play the Ole Miss Rebels is the only top-10 clash in the conference.

The most consequential Holy War maybe in history between the BYU Cougars and Utah Utes kicks off the incredible slate.

The majority of Saturday's games should have excellent weather. All of the forecasts for Week 10's games can be found here on The Weather Channel.

No. 6 Kentucky at No. 13 Tennessee (-6.5)

Prediction: Texas Tech 37, West Virginia 27

The dynamic of Saturday night's showdown in South Bend drastically changed with the Malachi Toney injury news.

The Heisman Trophy contender is out with an ankle injury. He is second in the FBS in receptions and third in receiving yards.

Toney had 34 receptions just in the last three weeks for the high-powered Miami offense. No one else inside the Miami offense has more than 28 receptions.

Cooper Barkate, Daylyn Upshaw and Elija Lofton are the other Hurricanes with 20+ receptions this season. All of them will have elevated roles in the passing game moving forward.

While the passing attack will be under a microscope, the Mark Fletcher Jr.-led rushing attack will be the key to Miami winning. Fletcher has a touchdown in all but one game this season, but he hasn't been utilized as much as last season because of the dynamic passing attack.

Miami can win this game by controlling the time of possession and wearing down the Notre Dame defense through Fletcher.

Notre Dame absolutely needs to play from ahead at home so that the Miami passing attack has to win the game for the ACC side.

The Fighting Irish have to treat Saturday like an elimination game because they are 11th in the CFB Playoff rankings. A second loss will knock the Irish out of contention due to the lack of high-quality opponents left on their schedule.

Look for Jaden Greathouse and Jordan Faison, the Irish's two veteran wide outs, to play huge roles on Saturday. The duo combined for 14 receptions and 189 receiving yards in the loss to BYU.

The Miami defense conceded over 30 points in two of its last three games. C.J. Carr has the opportunity to take advantage of a vulnerable defense and win the game through the air.

Miami can keep the game close without Toney, but it needs one of its wide receivers to make a big play or two, regardless of if Fletcher succeeds on the ground or not.

The Hurricanes can suffer a loss and still remain in the playoff field. They should win their final three regular-season games, all of which are at home against unranked ACC teams.

The game simply means more to Notre Dame.

The Irish should win, but the spread is a bit heavy now that Toney is out. The Hurricanes likely won't get blown out, so it's worth taking them with the 7.5.

Utah comes into the Holy War with the better ranking than BYU, but the Cougars have had the upper hand in the rivalry lately.

BYU won three games in a row against its in-state rival. It won twice at home and once in Salt Lake City during that stretch.

Utah won nine straight games in the rivalry before BYU took over as the dominant side.

The game is more consequential for BYU because it has one loss from an upset on the road against the UCF Knights. At No. 9, there's a good chance BYU misses the 12-team playoff with two losses.

Utah is sitting at No. 3 with one of the final undefeated records in the FBS.

The Cougars received a huge boost with LJ Martin's injury news. The star running back is questionable, per ESPN's Pete Thamel. He won't be at 100 percent, but just having him on the field might help BYU's offense.

The BYU-Utah game hasn't produced a ton of offensive fireworks in recent years. The last four games have had 45 points or fewer.

The safest bet is to rely on both defenses to show up with an extra bit of intensity for the early kickoff in Utah. Both teams give up less than 20 points per game.

Utah has the home-field advantage, which might be the difference-maker in such a tight game, but the bigger guarantee is the lack of points and explosive big plays.

Georgia likely has revenge on its mind as it enters Oxford this weekend.

The Bulldogs were knocked out of the CFB Playoff last season by Trinidad Chambliss and Ole Miss. Chambliss threw for 362 yards and led Ole Miss to 39 points against the normally reliable UGA defense.

Georgia hasn't given up more than 20 points in a victory this season and it appeared to get back on track with its 27-8 win over the Florida Gators last week in Atlanta.

UGA might be the most reliable national title contender now that Miami will be without Toney for a while.

Kirby Smart's team has a strong defense and a steady hand at quarterback in Gunner Stockton, who has a 71.8 completion percentage and only turned the ball over four times.

Chambliss is arguably the best quarterback in the FBS right now, but Ole Miss is 2-2 against ranked teams in 2026.

Georgia is the toughest matchup the Rebels will face and the Bulldogs likely won't let Chambliss throw the ball all over the yard again.

Saturday could be a statement game for the Bulldogs to assert their dominance at the top of the SEC and atop the list of CFB Playoff contenders.
