Oak Hill Boys Soccer nearly pulls off upset, Princeton and Bluefield Rams collect big wins

OAK HILL, WV (WVNS) - The Bluefield Rams Football team and Princeton Boys Soccer team both stacked impressive wins, while Oak Hill had a AAAA juggernaut on upset alert.

The Oak Hill Red Devils kicked things off on Saturday, September 26, 2026 with a big matchup against the Huntington Highlanders. A pair of early Jager Workman goals had the Red Devils up 2-0 in no time. He would end the day with a hat trick, while teammate Ayden Aguirre contributed 2 assists. Huntington would rally back to win 7-3.

Princeton welcomed their rivals Herbert Hoover for a regional matchup. The Tigers took care of the Huskies right way. Jake Stull led the charge with some early goals to help them win 9-1 at home.

The Bluefield Rams survived a late comeback to collect their second win in a row, this time against Virginia-Lynchburg 30-26.
