Will Vaulks' first goal for Rovers looked set to end the hosts' five-game winless run, but two second-half strikes from Tshimanga maintained the Bees' impressive start to the Sky Bet League Two campaign.

Tranmere took the lead in the 22nd minute when Vaulks fired a 20-yard thunderbolt past Matthew Cox, following good work from Charlie Whitaker.

The hosts had chances to extend their advantage before the break, with Whitaker going close before Dylan Jones dragged an effort wide just before half-time.

Barnet levelled 10 minutes after the restart when Tshimanga reacted quickest to Harrison Male's save from Charlie Lakin, nodding home from close range.

The visitors completed the turnaround in the 87th minute when Bobby Faulkner tripped Lakin inside the box, and Tshimanga converted from the spot.

Tranmere's misery was compounded in added time when Joel Senior was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for a nasty looking challenge on Romoney Crichlow-Noble.
