NFL draft analyst Todd McShay doesn't think Texas' Arch Manning is heading into the 2026 season as a top-four college football quarterback.
McShay said in a recent appearance on The Ryen Russillo Show he currently has Manning ranked as his fifth-ranked quarterback in the 2027 NFL draft class.
McShay named Oregon's Dante Moore and South Carolina's LaNorris Sellers as his 1A and 1B quarterbacks in the class.
He added he sees Notre Dame's CJ Carr and LSU's Sam Leavitt as other candidates to become the top quarterback in the class.
Manning is looking to increase his NFL draft stock by building on a first full-time starting season in which he completed 61.4 percent of his passes for 3,163 passing yards with 26 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
He will kick off his redshirt junior campaign next Saturday, Sept. 5 with a game against visiting Texas State.
