There are a variety of injuries that will impact fantasy football in Week 4. Here’s how fantasy managers can adjust to win their matchups.

· 797 words

There has been no easing of injuries across the NFL. The latest big name to be lost for the season is De'Von Achane, who suffered a torn ACL last week for the Dolphins. There are several other impactful injuries at various positions, so let's highlight some of them and decide what action to take in fantasy football. For those who need reinforcements, check out our Week 4 waiver wire targets .

Fantasy Football Week 4 Injuries: Puka Nacua , WR, Los Angeles Rams

Nacua (hip) missed the last two games for the Rams. With them sporting a 1-2 record, head coach Sean McVay said that he is hopeful that Nacua will play during their Week 4 matchup against the Eagles. Their pass catching options are getting thin with tight end Terrance Ferguson suffering an ankle injury last week that will likely sideline him against Philadelphia .

Week 4 fantasy outlook: Even if Nacua has a limited snap count, he must be started in all fantasy leagues if he returns.

Fantasy Football Week 4 Injuries: Nico Collins , WR Houston Texans

Like Nacua, Collins missed the last two weeks for his team. Also, like Nacua, his head coach DeMeco Ryans is hopeful that Collins will return to face the Cowboys on Sunday. Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has struggled with Collins out, throwing just one touchdown pass over the last two games.

Week 4 fantasy outlook: The Cowboys have allowed the second-highest completion rate and the 12th-most yards per target in the NFL. If Collins is cleared to return, he should be started in all leagues.

Fantasy Football Week 4 Injuries: Breece Hall , RB, New York Jets

Hall suffered a thigh injury that forced him to leave the Jets' Week 3 loss to the Lions. He did not return to the game and is being considered as week-to-week , meaning he likely won't take the field on Sunday against the Bears. That should create more opportunities for Braelon Allen , who is one of the top waiver wire options at running back.

Week 4 fantasy outlook: Allen is a viable flex option in 12-team leagues for however long Hall is sidelined.

Fantasy Football Week 4 Injuries: Justin Jefferson , WR, Minnesota Vikings

Jefferson sat out the second half of last week's matchup with the Buccaneers because of a sprained left ankle. Tests results were encouraging and he is not considered to have a long-term injury . There is even a chance that he plays Sunday against the Dolphins. He already has two touchdowns this season, matching his mark from last year.

Week 4 fantasy outlook: The Dolphins are among the worst defenses in the league, allowing 28.7 points per game. If Jefferson is cleared to play, he can dominate this matchup.

Fantasy Football Week 4 Injuries: Travis Etienne Jr. , RB, New Orleans Saints

Etienne was the Saints' prized offseason acquisition after he recorded at least 1,000 rushing yards in three of his first four seasons in the league. However, they will now have to play without him for at least Week 4 as he will miss some time with a hamstring injury. In his absence, Alvin Kamara and Kendre Miller should lead the Saints' backfield.

Week 4 fantasy outlook: There is no timetable yet for Etienne's return, so Kamara is worth adding in most leagues. His pass-catching prowess leaves him with more fantasy appeal than Miller, especially in PPR formats.

Fantasy Football Week 4 Injuries: Mike Evans , WR, San Francisco 49ers

Evans seems to be living on the injury report this year. He hasn't missed a game yet, but he suffered another ailment in Week 3 when he had a rib strain against the Cardinals. He did catch a touchdown before departing and is considered as day-to-day heading into the 49ers Week 4 battle with the Broncos .

Week 4 fantasy outlook: It's concerning that Evans has left two games early with injuries already. However, with all the injuries that the 49ers have at wide receiver, he is worth starting in fantasy if he is cleared to play.

Fantasy Football Week 4 Injuries: Jalen Coker , WR, Carolina Panthers

Coker has a 27.3% target share for the Panthers on his way to posting 18 receptions for 222 yards and two touchdowns. He is now dealing with a quadriceps injury, although he could still take the field against the Lions on Sunday. If there is any concern about his injury, though, the Panthers could be cautious and rest him with their bye coming in Week 5.

Week 4 fantasy outlook: If Coker is cleared to play, he is an excellent fantasy option against a Lions team that allows the most passing yards per game in the league and continues to deal with key injuries to their secondary.
