Raphinha to sign new Barça deal until 2030 tomorrow

Raphinha and FC Barcelona sealed their final agreement this Wednesday after ironing out the last few details. The club has already made it official in a statement: he will sign his contract extension until June 30, 2030 this Thursday at 12:00 noon in Joan Laporta's office.

The deal ties the Brazilian's future to Barça for at least another three and a half seasons. The extension also comes at the peak of his Barça career. His numbers this 2026/27 season are staggering: 19 goals to his name (15 in LaLiga and four in the Champions League), while becoming the Brazilian with the fourth-most appearances (190) and goals (94) in the club's history.

The Brazilian shone at Camp Nou yesterday in Barça's victory over Aston Villa. Despite a very good night on the pitch, he appeared deeply affected by the tragedy involving Jesús de Miguel. After the match, he declined to speak to the media, saying that right now "football was not the most important thing."
