AP Top 25: Oregon drops 4 spots, LSU moves up 3 and Michigan drops out of poll entirely after Week 1
The Wolverines were at No. 16 in the preseason poll.
Oregon moved down and LSU moved up in the first regular-season AP Top 25 poll.
The Ducks dropped four spots from No. 2 to No. 6 after a 34-27 win over Boise State , while LSU moved from No. 11 to No. 8 after a 51-10 win over Clemson on Saturday night .
Michigan, meanwhile, fell out of the top 25 entirely after its literal last-second win over Western Michigan . The Wolverines were third among teams also receiving votes outside the top 25 after starting the season at No. 16.
Ohio State stayed at No. 1 while Georgia moved up to the No. 2 spot. Notre Dame , Texas and Indiana fill out the top five. After Oregon, the top 10 is filled out by Miami, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.
