Star striker Harry Kane is close to renewing his Bayern Munich contract by two years until 2029, British and German news reports said on Thursday.
Sky Sports UK said that "a new deal in principle" has been agreed upon by the England captain and the Bundesliga champions and that Bayern "are now finalising the paperwork on his contract extension."
Germany's Bild paper said that the contract is expected to be signed within the next 10 days.
Bayern president Herbert Hainer said last weekend that he was "very optimistic" as talks were going extremely well. Kane has also suggested that the talks, in which he is represented by his father and his brother, were in their final stages.
Kane, 33, came to Bayern in 2023 from Tottenham Hotspur for €100 million ($111.7 million) on a four-year contract until 2027.
He has scored 154 goals in 156 matches across all competitions, plus 35 assists. He was Bundesliga top scorer the past three seasons and has also scored in his last nine Champions League matches.
Kane won the first titles of his career at Bayern, the Bundesliga in 2025 and a Bundesliga and German Cup double last season.
