Check Out Volleyball Court at Cubs' Wrigley Field in Videos, Photos as Nebraska-Missouri Suspended

The home of the Chicago Cubs became the home to some of college volleyball's top teams on Sunday.

Wrigley Field hosted volleyball matches between No. 3 Kentucky, No. 13 Penn State, No. 1 Nebraska and Missouri for the Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge.

There were some hiccups in the outdoor matches, though, like the court having to be wiped down because of the humidity in Chicago. The match between Nebraska and Missouri was later suspended.

Earlier this year, teams played in the Spikes Under the Lights tournament at AT&T Stadium, which is home to the Dallas Cowboys. Nebraska's Memorial Stadium also hosted a volleyball match in 2023 that drew a historic crowd .

This is not the first time Wrigley Field has hosted college sporting event. It has been home to both college football and college hockey games in recent years.
