Green Bay Packers set initial 53-man roster. Here's who made the team

GREEN BAY − The Green Bay Packers officially announced their initial 53-player roster ahead of the season opener at the Minnesota Vikings on Sept. 13.

The NFL placed running back Josh Jacobs on the commissioner's exempt list to open the 2026 season, creating an additional spot on the roster. While on the exempt list, Jacobs will receive pay but will not be eligible to participate in practices or games. This comes after Jacobs was charged with two misdemeanors, one count of battery and another count of criminal damage to property, stemming from his late May arrest.
