Sauce Gardner's Wild NFL Losing Streak Stat Goes Viral After Colts' OT Loss to Mahomes, Chiefs

After the Indianapolis Colts' overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football, cornerback Sauce Gardner has not tasted victory on American soil in nearly two years.

Gardner hasn't been on the winning side in the United States since a Dec. 2024 victory with the New York Jets, extending his personal losing streak to a whopping 644 days. During that span, his only winning experience was a victory by the Colts in the 2025 Berlin Game.

Gardner endured a 0-7 start to the 2025 season with the Jets and sat out their first win in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was sent to the Colts at the Nov. 4 trade deadline, and his new team ended the year on a seven-game losing streak after defeating the Atlanta Falcons in Germany.

Gardner had six tackles and a pass deflection in Indianapolis' 33-30 overtime loss to Kansas City. He dropped a potential interception, which has become a theme in his career.

Gardner will be hoping that his streak ends when the Colts return to action in Week 3 against the Houston Texans, who are also 0-2.
