Football season is right around the corner, but fans won't have to wait until the start of the regular season to see some of the sport's biggest names on their televisions.

That is because State Farm released a new group of commercials starring Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid, New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo, Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Fernando Mendoza, and Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti.

The idea behind the campaign is insurance is personal, as each of the spots featuring Mahomes highlights.

Predicting When Injured Stars Will Debut

One sees the Chiefs star speaking to Mike as "your favorite quarterback at your favorite restaurant with your favorite grandma," while the other has Mahomes and his head coach rejoining with a family for Ashley since she enjoys "sweet, sentimental stuff."

Skattebo's spot is based on finding a personal plan for the Giants running back himself, as Jake from State Farm learns all about his quirky approach to things:

As for Cignetti, the Indiana head coach starring in such a campaign with some of the biggest names in the NFL underscores his rise to stardom. All he did was lead Indiana, which was never known for its football success, to a national championship in just his second season at the helm.

And now he's in a national commercial campaign as a result.
