Rams' Matthew Stafford Named to NFL Top 100, Check Out the Updated 2026 Rankings

We are down to just three spots left to be filled on the NFL Top 100 after Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford was added to the list.

Stafford was revealed to be the No. 4 player going into the 2026 season, which marked a 55-spot jump for the signal-caller.

This leaves Bijan Robinson, Josh Allen and Myles Garrett as the top three players in some order.

Stafford's placement on the list is a bit of a surprise coming off his first career MVP season in 2025, though the three players who will end up ahead of him are hardly slouches.

The Rams star famously entered last season with a lot of questions because he missed time in training camp and preseason due to a back injury.

His injury helped bring the term " Ammortal chamber " into the lexicon when it was revealed the Rams brought in a futuristic-looking trailer with technology inside that is designed to help stimulate recovery.

Every person in their late-30s and older who has ever experienced back pain immediately tried to find their own chamber after Stafford lit up the NFL by having arguably the best season of his career.

Stafford led the league with 4,707 passing yards and 46 passing touchdowns, setting a new career-high in the latter category. The Rams led the NFL in points scored and reached the NFC Championship Game before losing to the eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.

Playing last season at 37 years old, Stafford tied for the third-oldest MVP winner in NFL history. Only Tom Brady (40 in 2017) and Aaron Rodgers (38 in 2021) were older when they won the award.
