It wasn't hard for Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb to psych himself up for Monday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Appearing on SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt after the Cowboys' 38-21 victory over their NFC East rivals, Lamb explained he felt like it was going to be a good night because "I hate Philly" and echoed chants from a few Dallas fans in the stands at Lincoln Financial Field saying "Eagles suck."

"Overall, it was just, I don't like losing. I don't do well with losing," Lamb added. "I hate losing more than I like winning. ... It don't sit well with me. I don't have a great day. It ruins my week, and it makes me wanna be a better player, better brother and overall a better man just for my guys because I know how much work we put in each and every week for us to come out and play not how we should. It's a little difficult on my end, so coming out here being very affirmative with how I feel this week."

There was a moment when it looked like the Cowboys were going to have issues against another backup quarterback two weeks after losing to Jalon Daniels and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Philadelphia led 14-10 midway through the second quarter. After the Cowboys scored 10 straight points to go up 20-14, the Eagles responded in the third quarter on Makai Lemon's first career touchdown reception.

It was all Cowboys from that point on. They scored points on three of their next four possessions, including a 16-yard touchdown catch from Lamb that put Dallas up 28-21.

Lamb finished with 74 yards and two touchdowns on five receptions. The Cowboys set season-highs in points and total yards (416) against Philadelphia's defense.

The win snaps Dallas' two-game losing streak and improves the team's record to 3-4. The Cowboys are two games back in the loss column of the New York Giants (4-2-1) for first place in the NFC East.

Dallas' schedule does line up to go on a run before its Week 14 bye week. Four of its next six games are against the Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans and a rematch with the Eagles.

The two tough tests during that stretch will be in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers and Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks.
