Madison Beer Opens Up About 'Magical' Engagement to Justin Herbert

It hasn't been a great start to the season on the field for Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers, but the quarterback has a "magical" engagement off it.

As Ashlyn Robinette of People relayed, Beer called her engagement to Herbert "magical" during a Twitch stream and explained he proposed to her on their one-year anniversary of dating on July 26.

"Very cute," she said. "My heart can't take it. Honestly, it makes me want to cry whenever I talk about it. But it was on our one-year of being official. We had been together, obviously, before he asked me to be his girlfriend, but it was on our official one-year anniversary."

The couple announced their engagement on Instagram two days later.

For his part, Herbert told SiriusXM NFL Radio in training camp Beer has "changed my life."

The engaged quarterback will look to get the Chargers in the win column in Week 4 when they face the Seattle Seahawks following an 0-3 start to the campaign.
