Tom Brady, the New England Patriots’ legend, might have retired from the league but he has always been focused on his health and fitness. While he has invested in a number of companies, one of his health tech investments suffered a major loss but it seems, Tom Brady is standing by it.Tom Brady works with his investment in Aescape after it reportedly suffered losses this yearA few hours ago, the seven time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady took to his social media to post about Aescape’s new launch. The company is an AI-powered robotic massage company he has invested in while also being its Chief Innovation Officer. In the clip, Tom Brady said, “Recovery was never optional for me. It’s why I could keep playing at 45. I didn’t want to just put my name on something — I wanted to help build it..I’m proud of what we’ve created together and excited for people to experience it this fall.”But the NFL legend’s post has raised eyebrows considering how Aescape went insolvent while facing over $150 million in debt earlier this year.As per reports, earlier this year, the company reportedly failed to keep up with high operating costs, capital expenditures and debt obligations. The company later brought in a new CEO Frank Britt who has reassured that Aescape Recovery (the company which owns Aescape’s technology) is perfectly functional.Back in May, in an interview with ATN, CEO Frank Britt said,“The arc of the narrative of somehow the company’s sort of out of business and bankrupt, it’s just preposterous…We are a company that is growing, we’re adding talent, we have a fortress balance sheet, the rate of growth of the use of the product with consumers is growing.”He added, “We’re hardly out of business…We’re quite the opposite.”Tom Brady has remained passionate about his fitness and often credits it for his success on the fieldInterestingly, Tom Brady has not commented on the drama yet as he is all set to headline this year’s opening session at the Eudemonia Summit in November in West Palm Beach, Florida, as he collaborates with Aescape.Last year, as he invested in Aescape, in an interview with CNBC Tom Brady also reflected on his fitness as he said, “After 23 years playing professionally, there’s no way I could have accomplished what I did professionally without all the massage work and recovery protocols…”The seven time Super Bowl champion added, “The reason why I’m still able to do what I love to do is because of the bodywork, the care that I received on a daily and weekly basis, and I want to try to make that available for everybody.”While Tom Brady is a multi millionaire, it seems he is pretty passionate about the companies he partners and invests in.Get the latest Sports News and Live updates.
