Los Angeles Chargers vs. Denver Broncos NFL Week 5 Live Updates, Highlights, and Analysis
A battle of must-wins between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Denver Broncos.
The Denver Broncos' defense seals the win with another sack-fumble on Justin Herbert.
The Chargers entered this game with four rookies on the offensive line, and it showed up in pass protection as the Broncos harassed Herbert for four quarters.
Herbert isn't blameless; he failed to protect the football on multiple occasions, and the Chargers are 0-5. No team in NFL history has made the playoffs after a 0-5 start.
The Broncos earned a tough, gritty, gutsy win that required all three phases. Bo Nix needs to improve if the team wants to turn this season around and return to the playoffs. They are now 3-2, with hopes of stacking wins going forward.
