Josh Allen reveals the sweet way he and Hailee Steinfeld keep their relationship strong amid busy lives

Josh Allen has shared a sweet look at life at home with wife Hailee Steinfeld and their four-month-old daughter, Harper Haize. The Buffalo Bills quarterback said the couple now keeps screens away when their baby is awake and waits until she falls asleep before starting their own quiet routine. With Harper watching whatever screen is nearby, he and Steinfeld try to keep phones and other screens out of her view.“We’re trying to limit the screens ‘cause if there’s a screen, she’s over there looking,” Allen said.Once Harper is nearly asleep, the couple gets a little time together. Allen said he and Steinfeld play the New York Times crossword every night. They also work through the daily Connections and Wordle games.“That’s our little routine that we love doing,” he said.Even their Wordle game has a family touch. Allen said his usual first guess is “harps,” a nod to their daughter.The routine may sound simple, but it gives the couple a small part of the evening that belongs to them. It also shows how much their nights have changed since becoming parents.Harper was born in April. Steinfeld announced her arrival on April 2 through her Beau Society Substack, writing, “Our baby girl has arrived!!” She and Allen said they were grateful and enjoying the early moments with their daughter.The couple later revealed their daughter’s full name as Harper Haize Allen in June. Steinfeld shared the name in a letter to her daughter, while Allen later told E! Allen described his wife as a major source of support while he continues preparing and working with his Bills teammates.“It’s such a blessing, and I’ve got an absolute rockstar of a wife that’s doing so many things right now and allowing me to be here right now and be with my teammates,” he said.Allen and Steinfeld married in California on May 31, 2025, after getting engaged in November 2024.
