Malik Nabers Seemingly Shades Brian Daboll, Praises Giants' Harbaugh for Reaction in Injury Return

It seems like New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers is a bigger fan of his newest NFL head coach than his first one.

Nabers took to Instagram after helping lead his team to a 28-20 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday and posted a picture of himself celebrating with new head coach John Harbaugh and captioned it, "Never had this befo!! Dass love coach ❤️"

The wide receiver saying he never had that before it notable, as the Giants were coached by Brian Daboll when they selected him with the No. 6 overall pick of the 2024 NFL draft.

Yet Daboll didn't last long, as New York fired him during the 2025 campaign and replaced him with interim coach Mike Kafka. But Nabers was limited to just four games last season because of injury, meaning he never played when Kafka was the interim coach.

Sunday marked his first game back since Sept. 28 of last year, and he wasted no time making an impact with six catches for 69 yards. Only Giants tight end Isaiah Likely had more catches or receiving yards in the game with eight receptions for 78 yards and two scores.

The Giants looked like a completely different team than the one that went 4-13 in 2025.

Jaxson Dart threw three touchdowns to zero interceptions, the rushing attack compiled 165 yards on the ground, and the defense picked off Dak Prescott while holding the Cowboys to just 3.8 yards per carry.

Harbaugh's first season at the helm is off to quite the start, and Nabers is already feeling the love.
